What is Energy Healing?
I discovered energy healing during a time of life-changing trauma. Though I didn’t fully understand it, its effects were undeniable—providing instant calm during moments of overwhelming emotion. When my healer suggested I might like to learn to offer this to others, I decided to train. I completed a certified course with the International Network of Energy Healers, over 14 weekends across 18 months.
I learned to sense the flow of energy in the body's chakras and help it move smoothly and in balance. Blocked or stagnant energy can lead to physical, emotional, or spiritual discomfort, potentially causing illness. By working with the body's energy centres, organs, and systems, I aim to ease blockages and restore harmony.
As energy practitioners, we are not “healers” but guides, offering energy to the body for its highest good. The body decides how to use that energy in its own healing journey.
How Can It Benefit You?
Energy healing can assist with anxiety, overwhelm, stress, and emotional disturbances. In my case studies, I've seen improvements in digestive issues, ear problems, immunity, and post-operative recovery, easing pain and fatigue. Energy work enhances general well-being, complementing conventional medicine, which should always be the primary option for any illness.
What to Expect
Before your session, I'll ask a few questions to understand your needs. Sessions take place in a cozy room in my home, specially designed for energy work. You stay fully clothed, sitting comfortably while I move around you, hands at a distance—this is a hands-off healing practice. You simply relax and enjoy the sense of peace it brings.
Each session lasts about 30 minutes, followed by time to address questions and discuss next steps. Typically, 4-6 sessions are recommended, but this varies depending on individual needs.
Distance Energy Healing
I also offer distance healing, which works just as effectively. I’ve conducted successful sessions with clients across the UK and even experienced it myself while abroad. Is Yoga For Me?
Are you wondering if yoga is right for you? It can be intimidating to walk into a yoga class for the first time. You might imagine everyone is super fit, flexible, and accomplished, and worry you won't fit in. I understand that feeling—I've been there.
But yoga is truly for everyone, regardless of age, fitness, or flexibility. There’s no perfect pose; yoga is about meeting yourself where you are, in the present moment. It’s not about achieving a handstand or headstand—though if you want to, there’s plenty to explore along the way. Every pose is a challenge and a learning experience. If you do reach those advanced poses, that’s great, but they’re not the goal.
Yoga evolves with you, meeting you at every stage. Whether you're new or experienced, each practice feels different; some days are easier, some are not. It’s a journey that goes beyond the physical, leading to self-discovery, belief, and trust in your body. We often overlook how amazing our bodies are and what they accomplish every day.
I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Julee Yew-Crijns, through her challenging and transformative Mudita program. I'm grateful for her expertise and the encouragement that led to my certification as a Yoga Alliance Professionals teacher. My journey continues with inspiration from my teacher, Lyn Ng, who has been a pillar of support.
